Why Won‘t My Form Load In Genie?
Trying to load a form into Genie but getting this error and not sure what you are doing wrong? Let's talk about some common causes for this!
Is Your Form Inside a Project?
In order for Genie to work the best, we recommend putting all form types inside of a project to work with them. Specifically, if your form is a questionnaire, it will NOT load in Genie if it is not in a project. Ensure that your forms are properly inside a project to see if that might be what is causing your form to not load.
Do You Have Magic on Your Form?
If you have previously copied and pasted magic on your form, you will need to remove the magic block from your Dubsado form before you can load the form back in Genie.
Is Your Initial Script on the Form Correctly?
You will want to make sure that you have the initial script at the very top of your form, outside of any container elements.
Ensure that the initial script is up to date with the most recent version. If you are unsure, delete the code block and copy/paste a new one.
Copy the script from below:
<script
id='diDubShellScript'
type="application/javascript"
src="https://wccdn-bwg5c8d0hwfnexbw.z01.azurefd.net/diWC/diIndex_v1.js"
></script>
Is Your Form Properly Set to The New Dubsado Form Builder?
In order for the latest Initial Script to work, you will need to be using Dubsado's new builder.
You will want to ensure that the builder is toggled to ON in your account
You also will need to check the settings in the specific form you're working on to ensure that form is also set to the new form builder. Make sure that the form specific setting is toggled to OFF:
