Limitations When Using Dubsado 3.0 Beta
Dubsado 3.0 is currently in beta, which means some features and integrations may behave differently than expected while Dubsado continues active development and testing.
Below are known limitations that may affect Dub-ins features when used with Dubsado 3.0 forms.
Conditional Logic Does Not Work on New Dubsado 3.0 Forms
Status: Known bug (acknowledged and escalated by Dubsado)
When creating a new form in Dubsado 3.0, the form element IDs currently change every time the page is refreshed.
Because Dub-ins Conditional Logic relies on stable element IDs to detect selections and trigger conditions, this behavior prevents Conditional Logic from functioning correctly on these forms.
This issue is caused by Dubsado 3.0 Beta and is not something Dub-ins can override or patch on our end.
Is Dubsado Aware of This Issue?
Yes. Dubsado has acknowledged this as a bug within the 3.0 Beta form builder, and the issue has been escalated on their side. We are actively monitoring updates and will restore compatibility as soon as Dubsado resolves the underlying behavior.
Recommended Workarounds
Until this issue is fixed, we recommend one of the following options:
Option 1: Continue Using Dubsado 2.0 Forms
Conditional Logic works as expected on Dubsado 2.0 forms and remains the most stable option if your form relies on dynamic behavior. You can continue using Dubsado 3.0 for all other features, but we recommend creating and managing forms in Dubsado 2.0 for now.
Option 2: Build the Form Structure First
If you are testing form creation in Dubsado 3.0, we recommend building the form layout without adding Conditional Logic. Wait to apply Conditional Logic until Dubsado confirms this issue is resolved and element IDs remain stable.
