What the Red “This Form Can No Longer Be Used” Banner Means
What Is This Error?
This error message appears only in Dubsado’s new form builder.
Dubsado changed how non-public proposals can be previewed outside of a project. As a result, this message appears when a proposal isn’t public and isn’t attached to a project. When you see this error, the Submit button will also be hidden.

How to Fix This Error
If you see this message, there are a few ways to resolve it, depending on how you’re working.
Option 1: Make the Proposal Public
You can make the proposal public by adding the required smart fields (First Name, Last Name, and Email address Short Answer fields) and toggling Public within the template settings.
This will clear the error. However, if you don’t want the proposal to be public or have to add unnecessary fields, use one of the options below.
Option 2: Add the Form to a Project
You can temporarily add the form to a Dubsado test project while you’re working on it. This allows you to preview the form exactly as your client would see it.
Once you’re happy with the project form template, click publish and then you can click Publish Magic to Dubsado Template to publish your template back to your Dubsado template.
Option 3: Don’t Worry About It
You can safely ignore this message.
Once the form is added to a project, it becomes accessible to your client, and they will not see the error.
