Using the Submission Bar plugin
The Submission Bar plugin gives you control over where your form’s action buttons appear—making it easier for clients to review totals and submit forms without unnecessary scrolling.
You can use the Submission Bar in two different ways, depending on how you want your form to behave.
Fixed Positioning
With Fixed Positioning, your buttons stay visible at the bottom of the screen as the user scrolls.
This is especially helpful when:
- You want clients to always see their total price (for proposals)
- Your form is long and requires scrolling
- You want to make submitting the form effortless
When enabled, the Submission Bar stays anchored to the bottom of the screen so your client never has to hunt for the submit button.
Relative Positioning
Relative positioning allows you to place the Submission Bar anywhere within your form.
To enable this:
- Click Edit on the Submission Bar plugin
- Open the Format tab
- Toggle Fix Bar to Bottom off

When to use this:
- You want buttons to appear mid-form or at a specific section
- You’re designing a custom layout
- You don’t want the bar fixed to the bottom of the screen
Pro Tip: If using Relative positioning, the Submission Bar looks great directly above any of our Footer plugins.
Good to Know
- Fixed positioning keeps the bar visible at all times
- Relative positioning follows the natural flow of your form
- You can switch between both options at any time
Note: Fixed positioning is disabled by default on mobile to ensure the best viewing experience. If you’d like the Submission Bar to remain fixed on mobile as well, open the Mobile tab in the plugin settings and toggle Mobile Fixed Bar On.
