Why Are My Image Links Broken

If you've noticed broken images on your Dubsado forms lately, you're not alone, and it's not something you did.

What happened

Dubsado recently made a privacy update that changed how they are storing images. As a result, some image links used in custom code stopped working, because the URL for the image in your Dubsado gallery changed.

The good news

We've built a fix right into Genie. It finds your broken images and gives you updated links, so you don't have to hunt them down one by one.

Important: Before you begin, be sure you have updated your templates to the new, Genie 5.0 script. Learn how to Upgrade to Genie 5.0.

How to fix it (about 5 minutes)

  1. Open a public-facing form in Dubsado.
  2. Log into Genie.
  3. Follow the pop-up and approve the updated link for each broken image.
  4. Publish the template.
  5. Save it as a new template.

That's it! Repeat these steps for any other forms with broken images.
