What Is White-Labeling a Genie Template?
Genie 4.0Dubsado 3.0Diamond Plan Feature
White-labeling a Genie template removes Dub-ins’ branding and restricts your client’s ability to edit their template. This feature is especially useful for Dubsado Specialists who want to retain control over template edits or ensure clients come back to them for modifications.
How It Works
- Publishing Your Template
- After finishing a Genie template for a client, click Publish.
- A dialog box will appear with an option to Copy White-Labeled Magic.
- What White-Labeled Magic Does
- Removes Dub-ins Branding: Ensures your client’s template doesn’t display any Dub-ins references.
- Disables Client Editing: Prevents your client from editing their template, including through Dubsado Side Editing.
- Retrieve Your White Label Token
- When you click the Copy White-Labeled Magic button, you will be given a token. This token will be yours to use to gain access to any template you white label, no matter the Brand.
- To access a template that’s been white-labeled, go the the public-facing form and add the token to the end of the URL. For example, https://hello.dubsado.com/public/form/view/6944531629d7d7c3912c1e97?wlToken=6684df05wl25 where ?wlToken=6684df05wl25 is the added URL slug and 6684df05wl25 is the token.
Important: Retrieving a White-Label Token is only available with the latest Dub-ins Initial Script. Check out How to Update your Existing Dub-ins Template to Dubsado 3.0 to get this new feature.
Why Use White-Labeling?
- Maintain Professional Branding: Keep the focus on your services by removing third-party branding.
- Encourage Collaboration: Require clients to reach out to you for template updates or changes.
- Control Template Integrity: Prevent clients from unintentionally altering or breaking the design.
Things to Note
- Subscription Requirement: White-labeling only works while you’re subscribed to the Dub+ Diamond Plan.
- What Happens If You Cancel:
- If you cancel your subscription, any client forms with white-labeled magic will prompt the client to subscribe to a plan to make edits to their Genie template.
- Rest assured, your client’s templates will continue to function and display their Genie designs properly, even after your subscription ends.
